At the last count there were over 50 ski shops and snowboard shops in Val d'Isere, many of these are located in Val d'Isere center but each of the Val d'Isere hamlets has a good choice. Most of the ski shops have a wide range of ski hire and snowboard rental as well as boots. If you are interested in buying skis or snowboards many of the ski shops and snowboard shops will let you try them out before buying them.
