The village centre is ten minutesí walk in one direction, the Funival ten minutes in the other. The nearest bus stop is two minutes away for the free and frequent buses.

Val d'Isere Center	Chalet La Moraine	YSE	9	3 mins	Bootwarmers	This chalet is an absolute jewel. The house is old and genuine and is its ownersí ancestral home, rebuilt in the proper local style. The location is great - in the little farming hamlet of Le Joseray.

Le Cret	Chalet La Petite SassiËre	YSE	8		TV, DVD, Bootwarmer	This is one of the prettiest chalets in Val díIsËre. Yet its owners canít stop improving it, and it gets even more special by the year. This summer theyíve been replacing some of the underheated wooden floors with, er, underheated wooden floors. This chalet has a Land Rover shuttle service .

It is wonderfully quiet, the only sound at night being the occasional moo from the local cheese manufacturers.
